Big deal. Street names change all the time. There's a gazillion roads that got renamed after Martin Luther King Jr and to the best of anyone's knowledge, not a single community ever felt any meaningful budget pain as a result.

I didn't realize that was the actual name of that stretch of route 1 until a year or two ago. I live right by it now and still find the name a bit off putting. If I'm describing where the target is i will absolutely refer to the road as route 1 instead of its given name.
