8:00 on a Saturday needs more food. People will be trying to piece something that resembles dinner. Not a real estate open house.
Please don't serve jumbalaya. Either serve a sit down meal or don't. If you don't, then it's finger food and/or things that fit easily on a plate.

I would probably get a honey baked ham and some rolls and condiments so people can make sandwiches if they want.

Cheddar and pepper jack sticks maybe some ham sticks too.

Lays Smooth Ranch Dip and Lays Onion Dip in the jar is really good.

You need to serve heavier food at 8. The ones you have listed are not enough.

And lots of desserts. Xmas cookies, petit fours, mini cheesecake, a buche noel for the centerpiece

I would probably do a bunch of heavy appetizers - mini quiches, pigs in a blanket, meatballs, spinach/artichoke dip, big cheese and fruit plate, definitely a dip with the crudité.

A few ideas that you would be easy to buy frozen or prepared if you're pressed for prep time:

Mini quiches
Cocktail meatballs
Stuffed grape leaves
Antipasto platter

Also, not everyone likes brie, so I would have some other cheeses, like cheddar or gouda, and a goat or sheep milk cheese. Also, salami or proscuitto would be welcome. You could also put out nuts, like spiced pecans.

How about dessert? If you want finger foods you could do cookies, petit fours, mini cheesecakes, etc.

Time makes a difference. This seems a bit skimpy even if it's not at a meal time. Are guests bringing food?

Maybe a hot appetizer? A hot spinach or artichoke dip? And definitely a dip for the carrots and celery - hummus or something

So what are people going to eat?

What time is the party?

I think you need more. Doesn't have to be meat, but a couple heartier additions would be good.

Throwing an ugly sweater party (kids-free) this Saturday. On the tentative menu:

Drinks:
Mulled wine
Spiced cider (non-alcoholic)
Wine and beer

Nibbles:
Green olives and feta in oil and herbs
Brie with honey and almond slivers
Water crackers
Grapes
Crudités (carrot and celery) - dip?
Chocolate-covered strawberries

What else should I serve, or is this sufficient?
