Weinfeld Education Group charged us 3,500 for the Neuropsych and that was with a classroom observation.

Actually, my Carefirst took Children's off the list. We're down to Kennedy Krieger. I put in an inquiry 4 months ago and haven't even received the email information sheets that they promised. I expect it to take a couple of years but don't have money for an out of network provider.

DD had an evaluation done by an in network provider 3 years ago and a second one by the out of network provider. The out of network providers evaluation and report was MUCH MUCH MUCH more through and helpful.

Most private practices do not take insurance but you can try Children's center for autism spectrum disorders, Lauren kenworthy's group. It also depends on your insurance and whether your child has a diagnosis.

No, that would be insurance fraud. But you probably could ask that part of the exam be done this month and finish the rest next year..

Dd 1 had a neuropsych evaluation done by an out of network provider at the out of pocket cost of $4,000. We have a $5,000 out of network deductible so we paid the whole cost . Dd2 is scheduled for a neuropsych evaluation in 2016 which will reset our out of network provider deductible. Can I ask the neuropsych to bill dd2 for 2015 so some of her evaluation will be covered?
