+1 I'd rather be with an ex than a total random. Don't get pregnant. As for getting emotionally hurt, I don't know if you can totally avoid that -- I mean, he is your HUSBAND and you are getting divorced.

My understanding is that even living in the same house sets the clock back. I could be wrong.

Two responses and a question. I don't think you should have sex with him if you are leaving - rip the band aid off and move. Separation is great for perspective and distance. Also you may find it gets less 'amicable' as time goes on - my experience.

Nothing wrong with it unless you think he'll bring it up in court. Then it will set your divorce back because sex resets the clock. If it were me I wouldn't risk it.

My soon to be ex and I live in the same house. We decided to do so to save money. Our divorce is amicable. We both still love the other. We're just not right together. We both agreed not to start dating until the divorce is final and we have moved (which will happen in 4 months or so).
We haven't had sex in almost 3 months. He has been dropping some pretty obvious hints that he wants to. I really, really need it.
I feel sad sometimes that our marriage is ending. I really wish it could work...it just doesn't. I don't want to get emotionally hurt by being with him, but I don't think I can go that long without being touched.
