She doesn't know you, either, then, so maybe friend is a buffer. I don't think this is a big deal. The more the merrier.

Your Aunt is coming into town and she hasn't seen you in a few years. She doesn't want to put you in the awkward situation of having to entertain her or invite her over so she is bringing this friend along as a way to keep your visit together short but sweet.

Go have coffee with your aunt. It's nice that she wants to see you and catch up w/o taking a bunch of your time. She sounds really sweet!

Eh, maybe her friend is driving her or they are going somewhere else afterwards. It is only coffee.

My Aunt is coming to town. We are not close, have not seen her in a few years. She emailed me and my sibling to see if we could meet at some point. Sibling is out of town this weekend but I said sure I would get coffee Saturday morning. It turns out she is meeting a friend for the weekend and bringing them to coffee. I am going to go but it just felt weird that we haven't seen each other in three years and she is bringing her friend to coffee.
