I was dreading thanksgiving at my mom's hoarder house and the miserable trip up there but then both of my kids (preschooler & infant) got sick with high fevers and horrible coughs that have kept us all awake for 3 days. Because of the steroids, My 3-year old has also turned into a raging psycho complete with thrashing tantrums, screaming, hitting and kicking. My infant is inconsolable and needs to be held for both naps and all night. I'd take family visit nonsense over this any day of the week!

Have another glass of wine. I'm hosting unwanted inlaws including cranky, 40 year old virgin SIL in the middle of a move (we are moving next week). I'm drinking heavily. Cheers!!

MIL just sprayed my pie with Lysol because it was cooling on the counter while she was cleaning. And my preschoolers now know about her upcoming plastic surgery and how important it is to be skinny.
