Is this my favorite poster again? The one who makes up elaborate and hilarious stories about people based on their kids' names?

As for the house, well - you gotta get yourself some marble columns! But sometimes, just one will do.

You are mean-spirited, OP. Do you need to feel superior - is that why you highlight what you think is bad taste? This is (or will be) someone's house. Who cares what they choose to like? And no, I don't have any connection to it or personal feelings about it at all. Hey - why don't you post photos of your own house for us to pick apart?

Big fail with the garage squarely out front.
Elegant homes, by definition, NEVER have the garage in a prominent place, and the garage doors should never take the place (visually) of the front entrance.
It's a shame, the rest is lovely.

Way too low. The taxes quoted look like they were for the house that was torn down.

Just quoting the real estate description.

Speaking of the real estate description, there are a LOT of "steps" from that house to downtown Bethesda. Two miles of "steps."

It's not the prettiest execution.

Italianate buildings often have those double bay windows and they have a boxy or square feeling to them so I can see why they would say that but still...

Not sure what was going through the mind of the designer with this one. And it's way overpriced for the neighborhood - but I guess if you want a part Italianate, part southern plantation infill house than it's a steal at almost 1.8 mil.
