My husband and. Read each other's emails and text messages all of the time. If you can't share them, why are you married?

PP, you express yourself like a cheater and go to great trouble to be opaque, so it's no wonder multiple partners have questioned you. Maybe it's not them, it's the way you present yourself. In addition, there are a lot of people who say they don't cheat, but their definition of cheating leaves out a lot of behaviors that most others consider to be cheating.

Bullshit. I can't stand snoopers. I have never cheated.

However, because I've had the wonderful fortune to be in several LTRs (and one marriage) with snoopers (yes, my fault, I was picking this type), I have long decided it is far far far easier to never ever even get close to crossing the line than to deal with the accusations and hassle of a snooper "finding something".

I had at least two of them snooping my internet history and interrogating me about posts I'd made on forums like this. Not even close to cheating. I now only browse from out of the house, and always use incognito/private mode. DW never looks at my phone, but I don't even have a password/lock on it. Life is just so much easier when you aren't trying to hide/sneak anything.

Well remember that curiosity eventually killed the cat.

I think that you should just tell your husband. It doesn't make any sense doing what you are doing if you both trust each other......

Cheating or not, not resetting your old phone and not knowing how to properly set privacy settings are stupid.

Why don't you sign him OUT and put the phone down instead of dishonestly monitoring his messages.

Maybe he's not a cheater. Or maybe he's not using facebook to cheat? At any rate, seems like this is unlikely to be useful to most.

This is hilarious - DH got a new cell (OK, we've been stuck in 2005 for a while. . .) and his old iphone is still getting his FB messenger messages and is still logged into FB. I can read all of his FB messages from his old cell at home. hhh.

Fortunately, neither of us are cheaters. Just an FYI.
