actually, our base school would be fine. But immersion was an opportunity we put our name in for, got waitlisted and then called in second grade when we never expected. It has been great. And guess what, we chose that over AAP! (And we are OOB.)

Just signed, OP! Thanks for organizing. So heartened to see that we are close to the 1000 signature goal! Our school is also doing a letter writing/email/phone call campaign to our Board of Supervisors representative.

Just wanted to inform you in case you weren't aware that the program might be shut down due to budget cuts. I have children in this program and am happy to see how they are learning the language so well. I think it would be a great loss if it is shut down.
