Same experience here and I agree with the statement that it comes in waves. And OP didn't even include anything medical or insurance related, both of which also take up my time.

This is me also. Something I have learned is that all people have something they are dealing with... Yes, my plate is full with the my stuff but everybody is dealing with something.

It comes in waves for me. Sometimes it feels like a full time job, doesn't it? It isn't just the meeting or the email, it is the researching and figuring it all out and prepping before the meeting that are my time sinks - in addition to the extra things done with DC after school.
