Doubt he thinks hairy legs are hot. It's winter. Go for it. Think of the time you'd save.

OP here- THANK YOU. I'm not being superficial at all but it's just such a drastic change in just 9 months. It would be like someone gaining 50+ pounds in that amount of time and expecting their significant other to just be ok with it. Obviously I still love him and think he's handsome but he looks 10000000% better without this reficulous thing. It was fine in the beginning when it was just short and clean but now it's just getting bad. I guess I'll try and be more adamant about how much I dislike it and see if we can compromise with a trim.

OP here- no I'm not shallow but when we first met, he had none and now he has one on the verge of looking like one of those duck dynasty guys.

My dh goes through phases of having a beard. He has a baby face, so whenever he's got a big project or perhaps moot ion or something, he grows it out because he thinks it makes him look older.

I flat out tell him I hate it. It's scratchy and uncomfortable to kiss, I don't find it attractive, and he's so darn cute clean shaven that I miss it! Luckily he always eventually shaves it, and then I try to always make a big deal about it (lots of physical contact and comments about how attractive I find him)

You haven't told him how you feel. You beyond hate and loathe the thing, but you've just said "I'm not a fan." That doesn't express your feelings.

Have you shown him the reports about guys who have beards have FECES stuck in them? I think you should tell him flat out, "I REALLY hate your beard. I'm not attracted to you with it."

My boyfriend decided about 8 months ago that he wanted a beard and has since been growing one. To say that I hate the thing would be a huge understatement. I've told him a few times that I'm not a fan of it but he doesn't really care. I get that beards are "in" now but his is just getting too long and too out there for me. With the holidays coming up, he's going to be meeting some of my extended family that he hasn't met before and I'd really like for him to at least clean it up a bit. I know this makes me sound petty but I can't help what I'm attracted or not attracted to. Is there a way for me to nicely convince him to at least trim it up a bit?
