That's great! But the rates jump up in December...especially around Christmas and New Years...and I think the OP is interested in the holiday season.

We just spent Halloween weekend at the Hershey Lodge & had a great time. Have also stayed at the Hotel Hershey for a few days during the week after Christmas & it was not too crowded. Although staying on a Hershey property is more expensive, we liked having a choice of restaurants & other amenities onsite, plus a free shuttle to go to other Hershey properties. We plan to return & it is more fun than Williamsburg

We like Hershey much better than Williamsburg. First off, the hotels are decorated so nicely and many have shows and events, super good meals too. They have more rides and even roller coasters open. They have a separate Chocolate stores, they have a separate drive thru lights, they have the zoo. Less crowded, more family friendly. Add a trip to Lancaster to do Polar Express trip!

We did. It wasn't terribly crowded, but it was freezing -- a LOT colder than Williamsburg.

Has anyone done this? We did Busch Gardens a few years ago, and it was way too crowded. Wondering if Hershey is the same way. Any feedback or advice from people who have been there?
