The 5 wounded in this attack could easily have been 5 dead if the assailant had a gun.

No supporter of NRA, but mental illness inspired mass violence is the real issue No guns or knives will solve that issue.

I think the NRA is somehow behind the recent stabbing attacks and they are trying to show that guns aren't the real issue, but rather mental-illness-inspired mass violence. You heard it here first.

What non-lethal means do you want them to use? It's hard to second guess when you are not there and you don't know the situation. From the reports, we know several people were injured and the perpetrator was still in the area and armed. Clearly, you are not an expert because if you were, you would know that a knife is a lethal weapon, and justifies the use of deadly force just as much as a gun under standard deadly force policies.

I think it is more cathartic to know the person will not do it again. The FBI has pale try of mass murderers to interview. Theses people don't need the FBI they need serious mental health intervention. In a country where people are free to do as they wish, a person in need of mental help does to have to use it.
