OP, I think you are out of luck, there aren't even great choices for gifted kids in private. Public is better. You could look at Nysmith or the new BASIS. I'd apply to the Davidson Institute and see if folks on that forum can have any better information.

The responses are because it's highly doubtful OP actually has a profoundly gifted child. If she did, she wouldn't be casting about for resources as options would have been identified for her already by the professionals who made the determination. So, people are reacting, rightfully, to another mommy with an exaggerated sense of her child's abilities. Because this area is overrun by these types.
