Ok, can I suggest you stop doing it every other day? Try to figure out within a week when you are ovulating. It should be pretty similar month to month. I normally ovulate on day 17-19. So I make sure to have sex on day 15 and 17 FOR SURE. If I think I'm ovulating on day 19, we have sex then too. It's three times.

They way you are doing it is not increasing your chances. If anything having less, but better, sex might help at this point. If you are doing IUIs why are you still having so much sex outside of that? Maybe try once outside of the IUI and call it a day.

Ha! That's hilarious! If you want the absolute easiest way to do it, get a Clearblue Fertility Monitor, all you have to do is pee on a stick every morning it tells you to until you get a "high" reading. Then have sex every day, sometimes twice a day until 2 days after you get the peak.

Oh my goodness, hell no. You need to figure out when you are ovulating. Aim for 2-3 times in your fertile window. Though really even once is enough if you time it right.

Every other day would be fine if you only had to do it one month. But if it takes 6 months to get pregnant? Um no thanks.

Yup, read up on how to determine when you are fertile, and even then every other day should do the trick if you don't have underlying issues.

We've been doing it every other day for about 10-12 days out of the month because I'm having a hard time telling when my fertile period is. (Didn't have this issue the previous two times I conceived.) It is exhausting! There are definitely nights where we just suck it up and perform. And there have been nights where we just didn't want to or couldn't bring ourselves to do it. We're on cycle 3 and haven't conceived yet and we are getting pretty fed up with the whole business. But we want a second kid and we know from past experience that just not using protection doesn't achieve anything for us ... we have to time it right.

Oh definitely get "Taking Charge of Your Fertility"--you could just track mucous and k ow when your fertile period is. Definitely don't put pressure on yourself to do this for a month when only 5 days count!

This seems exaughsting. Do you guys do it like this? Or just when you are in the fertile window? It's so hard to find the time with a toddler, both working full time, in grad school and I'm just SOOO tired!
