I am open to any type of food/restaurant my husband not so much. I would love a tasting menu, he would never go for that. Id say $200 is the budget for food, drinks would be on top of that.
What does he like? Difficult to answer your question without some idea of his preferences.
He likes more simple style entrees, like steak or grilled fish with a couple sides. Or a pasta dish. He doesn't care for a plate with 10 different garnishes and sauces etc. He is also picky about things like onions in food (insert eye roll here) So a tasting menu would never interest him. He likes American, Asian, Italian, Seafood but any other type of ethnic food wouldn't work.
So somewhere that would suit his tastes but might have a couple more adventurous items for myself
Thanks for your help
