On Seinfeld everyone who didn't live in the building had to buzz to be let in. They showed that all the time.

They also spend most of their time standing in front of their sofa, talking to each other. Who does that in real life? I don't think I've ever stood in front of my sofa to have a conversation.

And when they can't sleep, they just go sit at their kitchen table.

I thought you were going to say that trouble with sitcoms is they become the same show week after week. I don't even start sitcoms anymore because no matter how promising they are they will become the same boring formulaic show given time and popularity.

Nobody ever knocks, you notice that? They just open the door and walk in to a room. Every show.
