Op I love your choices and love the first chair. Does PB have the actual chairs so you can determine how comfortable they are? I like whimsy so I would love the furry chair if it was comfortable. If you have a Home Goods near you, they have lots of affordable chairs like this. My kids picked leather comfy chairs for their rooms from HG and they have been great.

You already have some great choices. Good luck.

Do you still have a glider from when she was a baby?

Get her a recliner. She's 13. You don't need to shop at kid stores. A lazy boy would be way more comfortable, and not all of them are huge and hideous.

I have this chair in my bedroom and it is super comfortable. I can sit cross-legged in it easily.

I would not put it in a heavy-use room, but for a bedroom it is great.

Ikea has some comfortable armchairs with matching ottomans. They often have slipcovers which can be changed when the décor changes, too.

Dd loves her bean bag chair. It's an over sized one so def roomy and comfy.

Just a thought...

My DD (age 13) would like a comfy chair for her bedroom. She likes the idea of a chair where she can put up her feet and read. We'd like to buy an ottoman too.

She's been saving up for it, and will pay for part of it. So she wants to like it.

She's found the following, but they look kind of uncomfortable (PBTeen chairs, especially the egg chair) or too small (charlie mini chair). Also, we'd need an ottoman, although it does not need to be matching.

Any tips for a comfy bedroom chair? It would need to fit through a somewhat narrow doorway.

Thank you!
