OP your co-worker probably doesn't notice the noise. If it's distracting, is there any reason you couldn't mention it to her?

OP here. I don't think it's a huge transgression, but I don't think it's appropriate. The person that compared it to someone listening to music without headphones is spot on. I just don't think it's courteous to other employees.

well-made men's shoes make noise, too. i get that a lot of dc men wear rubber-soled shoes to the office (ew), but if a guy is wearing pricey shoes, they're noisy. all men should wear merrells to work. end all noise!

I would hate that too, OP. I once had an office mate who clipped his fingernails at his desk. Talk about annoying.

You have clearly built this up to be a BIG TRANSGRESSION in your mind and I bet your coworker doesn't even realize she's doing it.

You'd better hope the boss doesn't speak Pandora.

LOL! "Boss, Larla's bracelets are too louddddd!!!" I can't.

There certainly are a lot of delicate flowers here, aren't there?

Start wearing them yourself. Really it's the only way that hers won't bother you. Not charm bracelets, but stack up a set of loose bracelets. Try TJMaxx near Tysons.

I think OP does have a case. It's like if a coworker was constantly clipping their nails or playing a radio.

It's not unprofessional but it could be annoying. Either tell her or suck it up.

Am I being nitpicky or is this unprofessional? My officemate wears charm bracelets everyday and it bangs against her desk all day long. It's really distracting and annoying to hear the clanging all day long.
