My 12-year-old girl liked it. I only half watched. The scene with the plane was pretty cool. Girl powah!

I really liked it-as did my young teen boy and preteen girl. When bust magazine and common sense media both gave it great reviews, I was optimistic!

I preferred the Powergirl spinoff from Superman over Supergirl. I'd rather see a series with her in it.

Got about 12 million viewers last night (TV By the Numbers has the ratings), a 3.1 share, tied for the highest new fall show of the season.

In my opinion, it takes about 5 episodes for a show to find it's footing or not find it's footing.

I was watching and got my 10 yo girl down to watch it with me. It was really cute, she loved it. It isn't high theater but it was a cute fun show.

Pretty mediocre writing and acting, but I'm willing to keep watching in the hopes it will get better.

So if you got supergirl's power would you be good? I don't think I would do the nice smallville thing....cut me off on 495 and your car will be in orbit!

Why would anyone make someone else watch a tv show?

Oh, my God, don't be so literal! The PP wants to enjoy a TV show with her kid. Duh.

We recorded it last night and will watch as a family tonight. Kind of excited to have some legit family programming for a change. Two dds, aged 10 and 12.

I liked the pilot. I watched it online when it leaked. Heads up--full of exposition. Lots and lots of story, but the woman who plays Supergirl is very charming and I think it may slow down a little later. I will definitely be watching to see.

The show starts tonight, 8:30 on CBS right after The Big Bang Theory, moves to 8 PM the following week on a permanent basis.

Anyone going to give it a shot? The reviews on Rotten Tomatoes have been pretty good.
