We just gutted our kitchen and put in antique white counters with tan/cream/etc quartz countertops. It looks wonderful and I am really pleased..
My question is what to do about the backsplash. Our house has a lot of seaglass coloring in it (like a very light aqua) and our kitchen table has that color as well. Would it be overkill to put that color backsplash in?

Or what about even a much lighter more subdued seaglass color, or just a very light pastel aqua?
Or would I be better off going for something cream/tan colored to stay away from trends?
I don't think we are going to be replacing the furniture anytime soon (it's really our first "adult" furniture, we worked with a decorator and spent a ton of money), but you never know..
Thanks!
