Thank you for the recommendation! This is exactly what I was looking for. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

20:20 here....I wanted to add that I didn't appreciate at the time what a blessing it was to not worry about your child while he's at school. Only after he went to k (and it didn't go particularly well) did I truly appreciate what we had at DM...there nothing that Ms Anne and the other teachers/SLPs haven't seen...and to this day, several years later, we still quote Ms Anne to his teachers because her insight into what makes him tick was so spot-on.

If you are looking for additional preschools that address speech delays, you're going to have to go further than 30 minutes. There aren't that many language based or ones that are supportive/inclusive.

In addition to your public preschool option (check with your local ES), there's LEAP at UMD, Maddux, (possibly River School) and inclusive schools like St. Columba's and NCRC.

+1,000,000 I could go on and on about how wonderful we think DM was for our child.

My knowledge of NOVA is sketchy at best, but you may want to look into Dolley Madison:

Can anyone recommend a preschool for a toddler with speech delay in NoVA? DS will be almost 3 next fall and we would like him to start in morning preschool, currently I'm a SAHM. We are in Reston but willing to drive 30 minutes one way for a preschool. Thanks!
