I asked those specific questions because OP wrote "Parent here looking for right fit for SN". So I thought I was being helpful.
Kingsbury is a very specific kind of school for a specific population of kids. They have a great reputation but my understanding is that it is a school for children with greater needs than say Mclean or Lab.
They usually have a booth at the Exceptional School Fair - or whatever its called - its held at American University every year. I had a nice conversation with their admissions person. certainly seems like a great school, but a school is only good if your kid is the right fit. otherwise, its a total disaster.
No, it's not. There are a range of kids. Obviously, you don't have a kid there nor have you ever taken the tour. I bet you don't even know anyone who goes there.
The OP was asking for feedback
about Kingsbury and probably going to asses "fit" based on how Kingsbury parents responded.
OP, Kingsbury postings are pretty slim for whatever reason. We toured and applied but we ended going somewhere else. But touring is a good start. Your kid can also visit for the day if you apply.
