From your photo in upper right, open menu and click Manage next to Privacy & Settings.

Click on Communications tab towards bottom. Under Member Communications, click on "Select the types of messages you're willing to receive."

Select whichever options you'd like and Save.

Not op, but I remember this and couldn't find it on LinkedIn the last time I tried to find it to change my settings. Where on earth is this hidden?

I think way at the bottom of your profile you can also click a bunch of options like "keeping in touch", "looking for new opportunities" - that might be good too since recruiters may search based on those flags.

Go to your profile.
Under your name if you have listed your current role you should see a pencil to the right, that is your edit function. Click it. Put in your preferred language. Hit save.

I want to add a note saying"exploring new career opportunities" or some such that shows I am looking for a JOB. But try as I might, I cannot seem to find the steps. I have seen colleagues put this on their pages, so I know the possibility exists. Does any more tech-savvy person know how? Thank you!
