In my old grocery store they had gluten free ice cream cakes. I am no longer GF and this grocery store (Kroger) is not in the DC area, so I can't give you the names of DC stores with them. But my advice is to find a large sized grocery store (A lot of stores in DC proper and the close in suburbs are relatively small because of the high real estate price) with a big selection, and go to the ice cream cake section. I am almost certain they would have one. Usually they are made in the bakery or by big names like Carvel

Hence the point of an ice cream cake...
Nah. Many ice cream cakes have a layer of real cake.
The gross ones.
