I did research on Hopkins for IVF and chose SG instead. Hopkins is usually the best but in the fertility area seems to be lagging. Search for Hopkins on the fertility board here and you may find helpful information.

I'd love to hear more about that. We're thinking about using them (Hopkins employees; it's what is covered) but concerned by their success rates, plus it would be a long drive.

Poster here that goes to FCOM. They have two doctors there full time and then a third that just joined the practice who is there part time. You do see both doctors regularly. They take turns doing the morning monitoring, they will be on for a couple of weeks for the morning and then the other one is handling other procedures. They do FET on the weekends so that won't be a problem at all.

FCM takes almost everyone and is a pretty small operation. It is very personalized, I've found.

I'm at SG in Towson, but know two women who have used Dr. Garcia and from what they've explained I would be hesitant. Transferring 2+ embryos by default and recommending not to used PGS testing after recommending IVF for repeated miscarriages when she had no issues getting pregnant. Combining that with their SART scores and I would be wary. Obviously no harm in a second opinion, but everyone I know who goes to Hopkins (aforementioned women included) only does so because the Hopkins employee health insurance only covers their own practice. I don't think I know anyone at FCOM, but the SART scores seem really low. I agree the scheduling stuff at SG kind of sucks, but I know my nurse has my back and I know she has worked some magic to get me in for a FET when it seemed booked before that. Good luck! Hi, I am new to this board. I live in the Baltimore area and have been seeing Dr. McClamrock in Harbor East at Shady Grove who treated me when I had my daughter by IUI.
I have been back at it for over a year now, did IVF with PGS, had 6 normal embryos. Had a negative, then a BFP/miscarriage/D&C, then this last one was a negative again. I love Dr. McClamrock and my nurse at SG but I was really frustrated with feeling rushed to do FET because of their scheduling portal (they will only do a certain # of FETs in a day which you have to "reserve" far in advance, and it doesn't matter if your numbers don't look good and you can't do your planned date). I guess I"m feeling like a number and that I shouldn't fail transfer of so many euploid perfect blasts.

I have a second opinion with Garcia at JH this week. Has anybody else gone outside of SG and had success? Anybody use FCOM (Padilla/BAss)?
