Please give her some credit. She is 15. She will absolutely look at the tag in the pants she is currently wearing. Or she will just do the trial and error method PP described.

I have a 12 year old who was not into clothes shopping at all, until a few months ago. She goes shopping for her own clothes herself now (we live within a walking distance of several clothing stores) and I usually give her $30 and some limits. She goes about 1x month.

BTDT. Only none of us had money for clothes, and we ate at someone's house when we got home. It was an excuse to get away from parents, not to purchase a wardrobe.

It will be fascinating to see what she comes home with (if anything). My guess it is mostly a socially experience.

she's 15, not 12. back off unless she asks.

Don't need to tell her anything other than when do be home, when to check in ( if you require that), what her budget is ( if you are financing this trip, and have a good time.

Her friends are going they can help if desired.

I was much like your daughter growing up just couldn't be bothered, but managed to put together outfits and find appropriate sizes when I decided I wanted to.

Don't give her any advice. She'll figure it out. She has no obligation to buy anything. It's about going out with her friends, not acquiring clothes. Let her struggle and figure things out herself.

15 year old DD hardly showed any interest in shopping.
She is going out with her friends for shopping.

That's how much disinterested she is in shopping.
Not sure how she will handle the trip.
please let me know how I can give her some last minute advice.
