Is there ever a reason I should give this up? My monthly bill may be a bit lower - I currently pay about $95/month (unlimited text, no idea about minutes because I have about a million rollover minutes). But the comfort of unlimited data is nice, even though I may use/pay less. And once I give it up, it's gone forever.
My husband still has a grandfathered Verizon unlimited data plan. DON'T GIVE IT UP...there's a very good reason why the carriers are working hard to "incentivize" customers to leave these plans!! As mobile becomes the prime way people access the Internet and as content gets more and more data intensive, they want to cash in on people's growing data needs and having people on unlimited plans ain't going to help their bottom line. So, keep it...it might mean a few more dollars this year or next, but in the long term you'll come out ahead data-wise.
