Just had it happen again on the bike commute thread. Tried to send me here: http://tracking.crobo.com/aff_r?offer_id=12269&aff_id=2454&url=https%3A%2F%2F60660.api-01.com%2Fserve%3Faction%3Dclick%26publisher_id%3D60660%26site_id%3D53556%26offer_id%3D286790%26ref_id%3D102fa27e85f3f01a2a030f635473ca%26sub_publisher%3D2454%26ios_ifa%3D%26advertiser_sub_campaign%3DW2_1_1_crob_250_ios_all_cpi_tier1-push&urlauth=747851480806311716362672540463

Clearly iOS 9 has tackled the problem a bit because it halts the load - the page I'm reading goes away and link shows up in the browser But then it just stops and I never actually get bumped to the App Store.

Will do. It was very odd and just on my iPhone.

Of course, my iPhone is dying in lots of small ways, so may just be me.

I used my iPad almost exclusively yesterday without encountering this. Please let me know if it happens again.

Think it just tried to redirect me but got (sort of) caught by iOS 9: redirect link appeared in browser but page didn't full load, and I didn't get bumped to App Store. But that window totally froze and I had to close it out. (In safari)

But here's the link it tried to redirect me to:
