Subject: Reveal to new owners, your home was once robbed?
When we bought our house, between the security system and hundreds of keys for the crazy number of locks they had in the house, it was obvious. We removed most of the locks. FWIW, the rash of thefts (as we later learned from neighbors) had happened in the 70s.

If you live in dc it's normal to be robbed every year or so. It might be a selling point that your area is an anomaly and is on a 5 year robbing cycle.

Why on earth would you reveal that?
If you did take steps in response like installing security measures/an alarm system, it would be perfectly fine to point those out -- you don't need to say "it was because we were robbed."
