Seriously, though. She is nuts and should keep her mouth shut. You can't tell who a baby's father most of the time, if you are just going off looks. I can't imagine trying to tell who the baby's grandfather is. Babies are squishy little potato sacks who don't really resemble any grown person very much.

My mil has a little problem with alcohol, drinks too much and talks too much, wanders the house interrupts while I nurse my add a yard da the usual.

Typically she shares with me about her wild youth no big deal.

Well today's tale at the 5 am feed she tells me my husbands father is not his father.apparently baby girl resembles other man.

I know she remarried when DH was young and for all things that matter his stepfather is his dad. So I tell her I know and fil is a wonderful man blah blah.

She says " no, no not bubba"

I quickly changed the subject, thinking she had too much but later today when she had sobered up she asked me not to tell DH, as it would ruin the family.
