OP, if it helps you feel better, I had a male friend who went through elaborate steps to catch his GF cheating based on a suspicion he had. He was right (of course) and realized after how much energy he'd wasted when he should have just broken up.

I'm just trying to find a justification where there are tons of justifications out there already....Thank you.

Last Thursday I spent one hour getting ready to meet him. On the way to the restaurant several persons told me I look nice including my cab driver ...

His reaction : " the things that you wear. You look like my mother. And you wonder why I look to other women"...Classy.

Seriously? That one comment is reason enough to dump him immediately. He treats you with disgust and derision. Why are you even considering staying with him another night?

+1. You aren't married. Just walk away.

Even if you "catch" him, who cares? So you break up? Why can't you do that now? You two aren't compatible. Move on.

This. Even if he isn't cheating on you (this weekend), you are no better placed as far as your being unhappy with him. You don't need anything but your own feelings in order to leave him.

Your relationship features, "lack of contact, lack of sex, anger moods and denial." In addition, your bf has a bad temper.

You don't need a PI. You really just need to break up. You have all the reasons right there.

Why do you need to have proof? He's your boyfriend, not your husband. You don't need anyone's permission to break up with him and you don't have to file any legal paperwork or have any justification. If you don't like the way he is behaving walk away.

Not judging. Just encouraging you to empower yourself. You can leave without looking for a justification.

Your boyfriends sounds just like my DH. Let me know what happens - maybe I am being cheated on, too, and don't know it.

Don't marry the guy, by the way. It will get much worse once you have kids....

It's a very complicated subject...

The symptoms are unfortunately the usual ones - lack of contact, lack of sex, anger moods and denial.

My boyfriend has a very bad temper and it's impossible to have a normal conversation with him...He is denying any affair but...sixth sense?

Whi do you think he is cheating on you? What are the signs?

Long story short...I believe my boyfriend is cheating on me.

I'm going away this weekend from DC, and I believe would be the perfect occasion to have a PI to get the evidence I need.

Can you please recommend a good one in DC?

(and please don't judge...)
