This is a gross generalization. Stainless is timeless, OP. If you like it, use it.

I have the stainless one. But it really depends on the kitchen design and what the wine fridge will be next to. You don't want to overdo stainless or have a wall of stainless. Or if it's in a pantry area you may not want the stainless breaking up the look. Seems like mostly a design question.
