DD needs a place to bitch about her mother, gossip with friends, explore the world of cursing, etc.

I agree if that's it but I'm thinking sex, illegal drugs and other dangerous activity is what is going on.

Then you need more than just an app. If your kid is in this much trouble, you've been asleep at the wheel and sound afraid to parent.

Take a look at PocketGuardian www.gopocketguardian.com. It monitors SMS, iMessage, some of the more popular messaging apps kids use.

Take the phone away. If your child needs a phone to call you, get a cheap one with no Internet access.

Yup, that will definitely put an end to the sex and drugs!

Do you want to track the phone's content or location or something else?

Has anyone installed an iPhone monitoring app on their teens phone? My 16 year old DD is going way off track and while this may be an invasion of privacy, I need to monitor and understand what is going on before she gets into real trouble.

There are so many apps. Looking for a recommendation from anyone with recent experience.
