Anything we were listening to, for the most part, he just loves music in general. My MIL gave him some classical lullaby compilations similar to baby Beethoven or baby Mozart I think and those used to really soothe him to sleep when he was 2-7 ish months old.

All of Dolly Parton's recent Blue Grass albums, "Little Sparrow" etc. My DD is 6 and still falls asleep to them.

My son and I both like the Putumayo Kids CDs. They have collections from all over the world. I also like Frances England, one of the few children's artists I could see listening to even if I didn't have kids.

Our son loves classic Disney music but that's probably because my husband loves it! Just play them anything! Babies love music!

Anything that you have on your playlist. My 18-mo likes Mozart, Shakira, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and assorted world music. Once in a while I might turn on a pop music station on the car radio and he loves hip-hop as well!

-Hey Jude
-Lava, the song from the pixar short before Inside Out

-Can't take my eyes off of you

So yeah, I would just recommend playing your own playlist until you hit on songs the baby seems to like.

+1
They have their own tastes that evolve with their ages. My second just likes music, period.

Music Together CDs. I find the music hard to tolerate, but my kids just love it. In the car, they go from freaking out to zen state once I start the music.

Our babies (now toddler and school aged) did and still do listen to whatever music we want to listen to. Neko Case was calming to them as infants. I don't like to listen to "kid" music, so it's never been introduced in our house. I imagine they'll get more opinionated about music as they get older so I'm enjoying this time while I can.

Hello,

We wanted to start getting some music/CDs for baby to relax to and start building some musical development and interest. What are some of your babies' favorite musical CDs or apps that you found helpful? Thanks
