Can you give the price for the age you know? that would help approx for other age group

Agree to look beyond the exterior (and parking lot! Horrible!). The place is fantastic. And if exterior matters, hold out for a spot at their original location. We actually preferred the second site, despite the exterior. Very convenient for us.

Little Smiling Faces is THE BEST and I'm so glad that we looked beyond the exterior- we found the right fit for our child and family!! My DD is WELL prepared for Kindergarten, at 4 years old she well-rounded and has exceptional reading comprehension and math skills. The nurturing environments at LSF II, the diverse teaching staff (race, physical disability, religion, etc.), the parental involvement, the comprehensive and challenging, yet age-appropriate curriculum, which includes cultural and world studies, Spanish, art, science, music, and physical activity. The school offers options such as dance, martial arts, art, music lessons, etc on site after school (for an additional cost) and it is a huge added benefit!! Give LSF II a chance,you will LOVE IT and your child will too!!

We're so sad that this is out last year with them, but are so grateful for the invaluable impact that the school has had on our lives!!

Because rents are easier and zoning and certification is easier. I had a friend who is the mother of triplets. When my twins were born we thought about hiring her as a nanny. Since she lives about 2 miles from my work, we thought the easiest would be for her to be certified to handle child care in her home. She called the MD state childcare licensing agency and had a home review. The home review had a bunch of flags for a home that her older PG county home did not meet. It would have cost a significant amount of money to make modifications to the home to meet the requirements. Unless you have a separate basement with separate entrance and easy external access from the street/driveway, and meet a number of other requirements, it isn't so easy to meet the requirements. If she was going to have more than 4 children, then it would have been much easier for her to rent a store front in a strip mall than make modifications to her house to provide child care.

Little smiling faces is okay is but the truth of the matter is there are limited daycares in this area and most of the other options are not good. We really need more high quality childcare centers.

Little Smiling Faces is excellent. The Director is on top of everything all day every day. Knows every child by name. The teachers are great - so interactive and friendly to both children, parents, and each other.

We loved Angels and Cherubs at their previous location. I don't know much about new location but all the staff moved to the new location too, and they are the core of why we loved it, so I would still recommend it. The staff was amazing and treated our son like family. It was a very loving atmosphere and he learned a lot.

We sent two kids through Little Smiling Faces and it was a fantastic program. HIGHLY recommend!

I have had Little Smiling Faces recommended more than once to me, but we were happy with our arrangements. You can also look at Angels and Cherubs. Not exactly sure where the new location is, since we only went to the location inside of Jericho.

I am searching for a daycare/preschool for 20 month old. She's been staying with a friend but that situation may not be working anymore because of my new schedule. Any recommendations? I'm planning to visit KinderCare on Lake Arbor Way this week.
