So, if I understand the issue here, the problem is that some of you are saying that a potential Presidential candidate should have enough moral courage and leadership ability to speak up when someone is saying something that is clearly offensive and wrong and hurtful. He or she shouldn't just sit there and let such statements go unchallenged. That's a reasonable argument, I think.

For example, if someone who is going to run for President finds himself in a church listening to a sermon that is bigoted and hateful, and that makes such claims like the U.S. purposely unleashed the AIDS epidemic on Africa, then I would hope that this person would stand up and say "No, that's not right, that's offensive. I'm never coming to this church again."

Oh, wait. Nevermind.

Would not surprise me if Trump did this on purpose.

He is back in the headlines again with other candidates being asked to respond to Trump not calling out this guy. In the meantime, there are those who will see this as being yet another attack on Trump by the media and will solidify his support as has happened with previous incidents.
