I think we were offered the option to cancel anytime, forgot and ended up using it. We paid $300 for a $1100 radio repair, and since it's a Volkswagen we'll probably be getting our money's worth in the next couple years

There is probably a 3-day cancellation option -- read the fine print.

there no official law that requires a company to cancel it, but check the paperwork good luck.

We've gotten those on all three of our most recent new cars and they have paid for themselves every time.
