The other thread on sexual assault has reminded me it is just five years since DD was arrested as a juvenile in DC for possession of marijuana. We got her out of detention the same night and the case was put to a student court, which declined any punishment apart from an essay (ie, no community service). She will not want this on her record for sure. Is her record safely buried or should I contact a lawyer to investigate and go through expungement if the record can still be found?
