+1 to bigger eyebrows. Literally every woman I see could benefit with growing them out. Seriously, unless your brows cover half your face they could be fuller.

Drinking a lot of water does make you look younger. However making frequent trips to the bathroom makes you look older.

Wait... so wash your hair every day or don't wash your hair every day to look younger?

In my experience women in there 60's that look much younger have been to the plastic surgeon.

Moisturized skin--face and total body, every day, no excuses

Tons of water--I swear I see more fine lines when I don't make this a priority

Sheen-free hair = I sun tell you wash it every day. Don't do it!

Well fitted/tailored (not tight) clothes!

+1 Posture and no reading glasses. But mostly posture.

I agree with all of OP's list. They are all the subconscious expectations of youth.

Lack of sun damage. Lack of smoking.

It's genetics.

But dull/dark colors don't help.

I agree, OP. Also, fuller eyebrows.

And posture is important, just like they taught us on Romper Room.

I know a woman who just turned sixty and looks forty. Amazing. Now, granted, I was not as pretty as she is when I was in my 20's but still...

Another friend told me about four things that give a subconscious belief that someone is younger than they are:

1) long eyelashes

2) small waist and flat stomach. Even if you are carrying extra weight you look younger with a flat stomach

3) white teeth

4) a bouncy, youthful walk.

What does everyone think of those? Any others? I would add "no gray hair" and for men - "having hair".
