Finegardening.com is my favorite. Liripe goes with just about anything. You can try to think about what you want in a garden: do you love a particular color? want to attract birds or butterflies? Like the idea of native plants? Want flowers that smell amazing? Mix in edibles like blueberries? Or something that will be really hard to kill? The last is a totally legit way to pick plants!

Can anyone recommend a blog or a website that shows pictures of what plants look nice together and what they are called? I'm trying to DYI my own landscaping. I know I can do the physical work, and I know what look I'm going for based on driving around and looking at pictures, but I need a website that says what each plant is called, etc. I know I want Liriope in several places but I need some things to go with it.

And before anyone says it, yes I've googled it and I can find lots of pictures and lots of plant info - IF I already know the name of the plant. But I'm more looking for plant recommendations and pictures where each plant is labeled.
