Try reading "the circle" similar principles but better writing. I agree that it can be life changing to refocus your mind on what you want as opposed to focusing on what you lack.

While the books encourage you to dive in/think of EVERYTHING in the way they recommend, I think just using the overall message of positivity is good. It's funny how much I am embarrassed that I read these, when they were actually really helpful!

I still use her philosophy to determine who are the people I want in my life. People who make me feel positive every time I interact with them are the ones who are in my life now.

I do believe in being prepared for the worst, but, I also relinquish control of my day to a higher power after that.

I have wished for positive things and it has happened.

I know how to recognize when I am being negative and I know how to turn that off.

3) Visualize your day going well; send good thoughts ahead of you wherever you go

Anyone else read these? What did you like/what did you think was useless?
Definitely value to these philosophies. Honestly life changing in my case. I was gifted the audio CD at a dark time in my life by someone who was pretty much a stranger. My life has been on an upward swing since then and when I need boost I go back to the CDs. It may sound crazy but I have been able to manifest awesome experiences by focusing on the positive.

I listened to these audiobooks. It makes you recognize and appreciate positive people, and intentionally avoid negative people.
