Pool, Spy museum, Nats game if they are home. or else an activity for the 12 yr old while the rest of you watch - earth trex, skyzone.

There is that rock climbing place in Laurel MD where they have harnesses the kids can buckle themselves, so you don't need a spotter. There's a cafe area to hang out with the grandparents and baby.

Perfect. Big kid in climbing class, you and the old folks sit and play with the baby or watch. Then you all go for ice cream.

I have kids with a 10 year age split. We always went with what the older kid wanted to do and made it work with the little one. Strollers and baby backpacks are your friend.

I need to get the whole family out of the house tomorrow for a few hours while DH takes care of some stuff. That's me, a 12 mo old baby, our 14 yo nephew, and my in-laws who are in their early 70s. (My nephew just recently moved in w us and I'm not very familiar with teen boys, hence why I'm asking for advice here.) we're in NWDC on the red line... I was thinking Union market for lunch but not sure what to do after that. Everyone's been to the museums a million times. Please if you have any ideas for activities we can all do, fill me in!
