OP, that issue is not resolved by a leash. In fact, a leash may make that worse. The dog will still go up to kids, especially if it is on a long leash. And no leash will stop a dog from barking. Ever.
Ridiculous. If the dog is secured on a proper leash it won't be near the kids. I'm afraid daily in my yard due to people like you , barely controlled and loose pitbulls.
