We have the Knoll Bertoia Diamond chair. While it is gorgeous to look at, I do not find it particularly comfortable for lounging.

It is beauuuuutiful. I love the lines. So distinct and tasteful. But I didn't find it comfortable and had to sadly pass.

Looks like a sad version of the wishbone chair or some odd modern version of a shaker chair. Also looks miserable to sit on.

It's beautiful, but visit in persona and park your fanny in it. The proof is in the tush and how comfy it is to sit in.

I love my pottey barn chair and a half plus ottoman. It's so comfortable. But the set was about $2000.

It was the $799 Saana chair I found exceptionally comfy.

The go-to names in seeking modern chairs, especially mid-century, are Eames, Knoll, Saarinen, Herman Miller, etc...
