I have read several of her books and like them. They are great summer and vacation reading. I also saw her speak at a book festival once and she seemed very nice and appreciate of people showing up for her talk and coming to have their book signed.

Sarah used to be a very active poster here. I haven't read her books, but her posts here were frequently hilarious. I don't know if she still uses the site, but she used to be one of my favorite posters.

I liked it. I've also liked the author's other books.

NP here and agree with the two PPs -- predictable and meh.

The main character was like every worst DCUM stereotype, except without kids.

Has anyone read this? Author and setting are both DC-local.

The book got a lot of good reviews on Amazon etc but I found the main character to
be shallow, vapid, and unsympathetic.
