I have a 10x13 closed in kitchen that has an L shaped layout with a DIY island from previous homeowners. We would like to start exploring what our options are for renovating it. We like the layout and would likely want to replace flooring, cabinetry (and add a little more since we have some space on one side), and of course countertops and backsplash. We don't want/need to do any electrical, plumbing, dry wall work (except patching). Is this something that is going to cost us $30-$50K, which is what I've been reading is typical for a kitchen renovation? This is what it looks like in terms of where the cabinets are, the island is the only place where there aren't uppers.
