In grad school most of our faculty were Jewish and there were a couple of guys in my class who pretended to be Jewish because they thought their advisors would like them better and do more in terms of going out of their way to help them professionally.

My aunt by marriage literally does nothing with her faith except identify as Jewish and I totally don't get it.

"Nones" make up 20% of the population but only 1 member of the 535 members of the combined house and senate, so I think some of them are lying.

And why would you think Muslims in the Middle East can't handle having a Christian around? There are actually Christians in the Middle East and they have to live there, I'm sure you can survive visiting.

I am Catholic, and occasionally downplay it in social situations. Sometimes I'm just not in the mood for the eye rolls and negative comments. But I would never outright deny my Catholicism. If it directly comes up, I am sincere, even if there might be negative consequences.

I can't stand when politicians pretend to be more religious than they are. Be who you are.

Yes. I pretended to convert to Christianity so that I can run for public office one day.

So, my heart and soul continues to belong to my one true Emperor - the one who connects your soul directly to the Supreme.

And since Jesus does forgive everything - he is my plan B.

No. And I am not sure how/why you could/would.

Also how do we all know Trump or Barack isn't religious. They may well be and it may well be personal to them.
