Definitely makes the tub feel bigger when you are showering - more shoulder room. But you probably need to plan on keeping the curtain open (pushed against one wall) when not using the shower, otherwise it hangs out into the rest of the space near the toilet/sink/whatever. If you don't keep your shower clean and/or it is in a public area you may not want to do that.

They make it feel bigger in the shower/tub. Outside not so much.

I think it made our small bathtub/shower combo feel more spacious whe you're in ther taking a shower. We also got a white curtain, which helps too.
