How small is your room, we need lots of recessed lights because we have a large house. We have the smaller standard socket recessed to look more elegant and be comatible with LED and anything in the future. This type of recessed is timeless.

Recessedlighting.org has a calculator where you input the room dimensions and it makes a plan based on how many lights you'd like. We just had 6 installed in our 13x20 living room and are using led bulbs on a dimmer and it's very bright.

We'd like a better lighting situation in a small tv room and are considering LED recessed lights. Have any of you had them? What did you think? Also, are there better alternatives to recessed lighting? I personally prefer it to track lighting, for instance. Also, is there a good guide as to where to place recessed lights? Thanks so much.
